BACKGROUND
Connect is our annual developer conference where company announcements are made and we host 2 days of developer sessions/product demos. This year the focus was on Meta Quest 3S launch, Ray Ban Meta AI glasses, Orion and AI. Creative X was part of a large XFN team across the company working on Connect 2024 that included GEIM, Comms, Dev Marketing, Product and Engineering teams.

The overall objectives across the program were the following:
Land our Innovation Narrative: Reinforce that Meta is the leader in AI and metaverse, and demonstrate the progress we’ve made in building products that connect people in inspiring ways. 
Accelerate Developer Momentum: Grow and deepen engagement with Meta’s developer ecosystem and inspire them to build new AI / MV / MR / AR experiences.
Help Products Succeed: Support, but not constrain, GTM efforts to drive device sales and MAD growth.

CREATIVE & DESIGN
This year the ethos was centred around openness, craft and innovation — where creativity and imagination meets the infinite possibilities of technology. Our CX Creative and Design teams collaborated across the company to bring this ethos to life.

At Connect ‘24 we are continuing our journey with ‘Expand Your World’, committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Smart Glasses (SG) and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies. This concept serves as the cornerstone of our platform, guiding our efforts to forge connections that transcend traditional limits.
